  3. They do look a healthy lot and I wouldn't mind betting you grew/grow them for the birds anyway. (That is what I seem to have done with my blueberries.)

Although our Spring starts at the same time we are about 2 months behind you. The only reason I can think of is we don't have the warmth or amount of Sun as you do. A beautiful day outside today. First in ages and I should be out there. In fact, am going there now. 2:30pm so I think it is past my lunch time. LOL

    1. Hi Shayna, it is cold today, my hands are blue, think we are in for rain, so going out now to harvest the strawberries I have , before the birds gets them. I will share, no problem, but this cheeky little bulbul that was hand reared, comes and take one haps of each berry, now that is not sharing to me, that is hogging. *grins*

  6. Love the photos of strawberries, one of my favourite fruit. Fortunately, now they are on the market all the year round, though I find those we buy in spring taste much better...

    1. you are right, Belita, our spring locals are the best, we can get them year round too, now, wonder where they come from in our winter. The ones out the garden might not look as perfect or large or red, but they do taste the best.
